This Verification service enables national administrations and shipping companies to verify the validity and authenticity of certificates issued in accordance with the STCW Convention
The service does not require registration. Provide all information in the blank fields and submit. and the result will be mailed to your address.
Please note that in the case of endorsements of foreign certificates this database does not cover the confirmations of receipt of applications. If you wish to verify such a confirmation, please contact the administration. on

This online service enables national administrations and shipping companies to verify the validity and authenticity of certificates issued in accordance with the STCW Convention by the Finnish administration.
The service does not require registration.
By entering the number of the certificate and the date of birth of the holder, you receive information of validity of the certificate. Please make sure that the numbers are entered correctly.
Please note that in the case of endorsements of foreign certificates this database does not cover the confirmations of receipt of applications. If you wish to verify such a confirmation, please contact the administration.
